Balance: Outsourcing for Sanity

Australians say they work the longest hours of any OECD country, except South Korea, and whereas working time in South Korea is actually on the decline, in Australia it's on the increase. The incidence of stress-related leave in the Australian workplace is high and people say they are dissatisfied with their lives. This is despite Australia rating in the highest area of 'happiness' on a map of subjective wellbeing, which evaluates population heath, wealth and access to education.
Without a clear view of where we are headed each day, conflicting priorities are likely to lead to greater stress (distress) and dysfunction. It requires significant time, effort, planning and practice to become a proficient juggler.
